COVID-19 Self-Assessment and Resources
Use the BC COVID-19 Self-Assessment Tool to find out if you or your family members need further assessment or testing for COVID-19. The Self-Assessment Tool is available online or as an App from the Apple Store or Google Play Store. This resource is available 24 hours a day.
You can access your health information online 24 hours a day, 7 days a week using Health Gateway. This resource gives you access to your COVID-19 and medical information. It is accessible by anyone 12 and older with a BC Services Card set up on a mobile device.

If you have health questions, you can call HealthLink BC at 8-1-1 toll-free in B.C., or if you are deaf and hard of hearing, call 7-1-1 or contact us through Video Relay Services (VRS). Give VRS the number 604-215-5101 to call us. Translation services are available in more than 130 languages. If you have non-health related questions about topics such as child care, travel or business call Service BC at 1-888-268-4319.

Urgent and Primary Care Centres
Urgent and Primary Care Centres are opening across the province to improve access to primary care. They provide an alternative to visiting emergency departments for issues that do not need to be seen in a hospital. For example, patients who require medical attention within 12 to 24 hours for something like a sprain, minor cut or burn can visit an Urgent and Primary Care Centre. Some are open during evenings and weekends.

Our registered nurses can help you with your non-emergency health concerns. They can answer your questions and provide health and treatment advice. Call 8-1-1 to speak with a nurse anytime of the day or night.
Dietitians
Our registered dietitians can answer your healthy eating and nutrition questions. Call 8-1-1 to speak with a dietitian Monday to Friday from 9am to 5pm PT, or Email a HealthLinkBC Dietitian.
Exercise Professionals
Our qualified exercise professionals can answer your physical activity questions and offer advice. Call 8-1-1 to speak with an exercise professional Monday to Friday from 9am to 5pm PT, or Email Physical Activity Services.
Pharmacists
Our pharmacists are available to answer your medication questions when your community pharmacist may be unavailable. Call 8-1-1 to speak with a pharmacist from 5pm to 9am PT every night of the week.
